Hi everyone,
Just to let you know that two of our members, Andy and Tom Sherratt have done some weed clearing at Hatton Lane and some peg improvement.
I have left a sectioned rake at HATTON lane near the boat for anyone who wants to do more weed clearing. Basically if you see some weed near in to about two metres out remove it and leave it to one side on the bank to dry out.The sectioned rake is particularly useful for the shallow pool. Be careful as you feed the rake back towards you that it doesn’t hit a car.The weed near in doesn’t have to be on the pegs to be removed. IT ALL NEEDS SHIFTING SO AS WE DON’T HAVE CLEAR WATER AND DEOXYGENATION..
Hollyhedge badly needs strimming. I have seen members’ cars there so it is time that someone cuts the grass.
A lot of carp were basking on the top at Hatton Lane yesterday- they looked hungry!
